Overview:
To assist users in searching for a particular Diary Note in a file, users can select a 'Note Category' and 'Note Type' when entering a note into a claim.
The Categories and Types must first be set up by an Admin user on the Settings page.
To Set up Note Categories and Types (Admin user only):
1. Click on Settings
2. Choose either Note Category Setup or Note Type Setup
Add the Note Categories and Note Types by following the below steps for each section:
1. Mark the box under Add New and enter the Category/Type
2. Then click Add/Save Changes
On the Diary Notes page, a user will have the ability to assign a 'Category' and 'Type' for each note entered by selecting the appropriate choice from the drop-down menus.
Above the saved notes are drop-down menus for you to search by which will narrow down your list of notes by Category and Type.
