The current limit on email size is 25MB. This includes all attachments, email headers, the body of the message, and other associated metadata consistent with the threshold most systems support.
Depending on the size of the email message, in most cases the approximate maximum size of attachments would be around 18MB. Unfortunately, this is a limitation of most modern email systems and is not something we are able to change.
If you are receiving an error message when attempting to email out attachments, the file may be too large. Although uploaded to FileTrac as less than 25MB, when included on an email as an attachment it may exceed the max 25MB size.
For this, we advise to instead download the document(s) locally to your computer and attempt to send via Outlook or your email program of choice.
If you wish to email the document(s) out of FileTrac, you can download them to your computer, zip them, upload the zipped file to FileTrac, then email the file out of FileTrac.
